Lean Green Printing

PIRA International issed a report (PDF 1.1MB) that looks at five key aspects of printers going green including market background, environmentally friendly printing, the paper recycling process, paper chain of custody schemes and printing inks.

The Environmental Impact of a Printing Plate

Sponsored by Kodak and FujiFilm, J Zarwan produced a white paper (PDF 2.36MB) titled "The Environmental Impact of a Printing Plate." The paper explores the claims that printing plate suppliers are making around environmental benefits of different plate technologies and attempts to bring some clarity to the issue.

Why Print is Green

The Print Council's newest brochure (PDF 1.7MB) identifies ten reasons why print is sustainable and how our industry is working to improve its impact on the environment. The brochure is intended for use by printers, marketers, and designers to demonstrate to their customers why print media is the environmentally sound choice for communicating with the audiences they want to reach.
