The Print Center of Credit Suisse used to print the customer and in-house documents in two print runs. Color elements were preprinted in offset and transaction elements on a digital printing machine. Credit Suisse invested in 4 Versamark VL 6000 machines and combined these to 2 twin systems. Currently 60% of the yearly volume of 210 million pages is printed on VL. The plan is to have very soon 90% transferred. The investment improved the production process and cut paper and storage cost.
