Depending on the compatibility with your scanning application, you should choose between the NEW, and the ORIGINAL, i50/i60 Scanner Drivers:

IMPORTANT: To insure the correct installation of either of the following driver releases, we highly recommend that any prior version, either older or newer, be fully uninstalled as follows:

UNINSTALL PROCEDURE: Click on the Windows "Start" button, then select the "Programs" group, then the "Kodak Scanner" group, then select the "Uninstall Driver" program. After the uninstall program completes, then delete any remaining files in the following two directories:

  • C:\WINNT\twain_32\kodak\Scanner
  • C:\WINNT\pixtran\scandrv

Then download and install the required version. See below.

NEW DRIVERS: The most current release is v2.07 and is recommended for all Applications that are based on the TWAIN DataSource. This release v2.07 will install both a TWAIN DataSource, and an ISIS Driver as follows:

  • v2.07.031204 - i50 & i60 TWAIN DataSource
  • v2.07.041904 - i50 & i60 ISIS Driver

RECENT DRIVERS: The previous release was v2.06 and was recommended for all Applications that are based on the TWAIN DataSource. One exception is that the Kodak Capture Software v5.0 requires the original v1108 listed below. ALTERNATELY, it is highly recommended that all installations of v5.0 of Kodak Capture Software be upgraded to v6.0 which will then operate correctly with v2.06 TWAIN DataSource for the i50/i60. This release v2.06 will install both a TWAIN DataSource, and an ISIS Driver as follows:

  • v2.06.031703 - i50 & i60 TWAIN DataSource
  • v2.06.122002 - i50 & i60 ISIS Driver

NOTE: For the NEW and RECENT DRIVERS; After downloading the file to the Host PC for the scanner, Double click to initiate the self extracting executable file, and complete the install by following the instructions on the screen.

ORIGINAL DRIVERS: The original release was called v2.00.1108 and should only be used with Kodak Capture Software v5.0, or ISIS Applications which have not yet been certified as compatible with the new version listed above. This release v1108 will install both a TWAIN DataSource, and an ISIS Driver as follows:

  • v2.00.1108 - i50 & i60 TWAIN DataSource
  • v2.00.1102 - i50 & i60 ISIS Driver

NOTE: For the ORIGINAL DRIVERS; After downloading the file to the Host PC for the scanner, you must extract all files to a common directory, and then double click on the "setup.exe" file to install these drivers.
