The VL-Series Printing Systems were designed for flexibility. The systems can use pigment inks and/or dye inks. Water-based pigment inks increase permanence and light-fastness and are safe for the environment. Dye based inks offer a low cost alternative and offer greater optical density for black inks while offering a comparable color gamut. They are both about 95% water, and when handled properly, are safe for the environment.
