KODAK VERSAMARK Composer is a suite of application software modules used to design and lay out jobs for KODAK VERSAMARK V-series Printing Systems. KODAK VERSAMARK Composer can be used for any digital printing application including transactional documents, direct mail and print-on-demand.

• Design portion based on QUARKXPRESS technology and is compatible with QUARKXPRESS versions 4 through 6.5 software
• Design separate from data merge, so different skill sets can be utilized 
• Supports creation of variable text at any print angle 
• Allows for automatic shrinking of font size to fit text to a bounding box 
• Supports variable graphics as well as text 
• Includes support for over 50 barcodes, including all the standard 2-D barcodes 
• Provides image processing capabilities 
• Supports ICC profiles (in conjunction with KODAK VERSAMARK Color Toolkit software) 
• Includes a powerful scripting language for handling complex applications

• Generates output as IJPDS or AFPDS 
• Includes an IJPDS Proofer for viewing documents and generating hard copy proofs
