Kodak Shares Best Practices and Products for Businesses to Implement a Digital Document Workflow at TAWPI 2008 Forums and Expo

ROCHESTER, N.Y. , August 20 - The transformation of paper processes into productivity gains is a magic moment for businesses. Attendees will find a number of document imaging solutions to provide their companies with a more efficient workflow at TAWPI 2008 Forums and Expo at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Fla., Aug. 24-27. Kodak will feature presentations by industry experts, as well as select products, services, and solutions that improve access to and management of information for professional organizations.

“Kodak’s product demonstrations and presentations during TAWPI will show how we’re working across our entire industry to help our customers grow and implement document management strategies,” said Don McMahan, Vice President of Sales, United States and Canada Region, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “Professional organizations attending TAWPI will have the opportunity to collaborate, learn and take with them valuable information to help them work more efficiently, manage information more effectively, and be more profitable.”

Visitors to Kodak’s booth, #700, will see a variety of document management solutions and have the opportunity to speak to the company’s experts about specific challenges related to capturing and organizing digital information from hard copy documents. Additional opportunities to hear from Kodak experts are available through panel discussions focused on trends in document automation and distributed capture. Rod Hughes, Marketing Director, United States and Canada Region, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, will participate in two panel discussions: “The Future of Document & Forms Processing Automation,” on Monday, Aug. 25 at 1:30 p.m., and “Maneuvering Through a Maze of Distributed Capture Options,” on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 1:30 p.m.

During TAWPI, Kodak will also unveil its latest program designed to help professional service bureaus assure quality solutions when managing the growth of records and critical documents coming in from their customers. Kodak will formally introduce Databank IMX as the charter member of the Document Conversion Center Scanning Services Program, recognizing the service provider’s dedication to quality information management.

Kodak will offer demonstrations of some of the latest document imaging scanners and software.
