i600 Series Scanner Firmware
A new version of the Scanner Driver may also be available. Firmware can be upgraded without updating the Scanner Driver but loading the most recent version of the Scanner Driver is reccomended. Please read the information at the above link for more information.
Installation Instructions
NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL AN i600 FIRMWARE UPDATE FROM A WINDOWS 7 HOST PC.
If the computer that is connected to the KODAK i600 Scanner is using any version of the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system and you need to install any version of Kodak firmware into the scanner then please contact Kodak Support for assistance. For more information on this topic please read the firmware release notes below.
- Click on InstallFW_i600_v4.0.3.exe and download to a temporary directory on your computer.
- Before beginning your update, be sure the scanner is powered on and has reached steady state with no warning or error messages. Exit out of any application which may be communicating with the scanner.
Note: When you launch the InstallFW program, it will automatically connect to the scanner and begin a FW download. DO NOT interrupt this process until the program reports back successful completion. - Double click on the file, InstallFW_i600_v4.0.3.exe
- When download is completed, cycle power on the scanner.
The Firmware version can be checked by selecting the "Info" tab of the SVT.
